Google AdWords and Google adsense are tow-advertising
services. The one line difference between them is, in AdWords you pay google
while in adsense google pays you.
Google AdWords is an advertising service through which you
display your ads on google websites (like google search, youtube, google maps);
google partners websites (like AOL, Ask.com, Amazon, New York times, Washington
post) and display network (all the sites that are publishers).
In order to display your ads with google you need an
account. Sign up for google AdWords and select your ads to display. It depends
upon you whether you want to display your ads in google websites alone or
partner websites as well. For example if you sell a product, you would like to
attract audience towards your product, not only displaying ads in google but
also on amazon store.
Google AdWords is the largest advertising network with the
access more than 90% of the internet.
While google adsense is advertising service, in which you
display ads (that were submitted by users to google via AdWords) on you website
or blog and in return, google pays you. For google adsense, you need a separate
account. However, one Gmail id will be enough for sign up in both (AdWords and
adsense) but both accounts are managed and organized independently. You cannot
pay AdWords fee with you adsense account.
Bloggers with display google ads on their blogs/websites are
called publishers. There are more than two million publishers online. To be a
publisher your site have to pass through many phases and rules such as It
should be more than 6 months old (specially in Asia), there should be enough
content on your website and no content should be copied etc.
Gratitude for sharing this crisp and clear guide here. I also would like to use Google Adwords Management for attracting the potential traffic on my website but everything seems very difficult to me because it is my first blog. If you know about very affordable professional PPC AdWords services, please let me know.
